Congratulations! The decision to be baptised (Christened) is an amazing one, and the start of a wonderful journey of faith. If you are thinking of being baptised, or wanting to know more about having a child baptised, then we would be delighted to welcome you to St Mary’s.
If you live in the parish of St Mary’s (search on A Church Near You) then you are allowed to be baptised at St Mary’s. If you live nearby but not in the parish then come and speak to one of the vicars and we can talk further.
The best way to work out what a baptism might be like is to come to one of our services on a Sunday Morning. We have a sung communion at 9.30am every week, with GIGGLE (Sunday School) and on the 4th Sunday of the month we have a more contemporary service called TASTE at 11am.
We also run a toddler group – Music for Toddlers – every Tuesday at 10.30am.
We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to St Mary’s and talking more about what it means to be baptised.
