Living after Loss

Living after Loss is held in the Parish Rooms at the back entrance of the church, fortnightly on Fridays at 11am.

The next meetings in 2016 are 10th Jun, 24th Jun, 8th Jul, 22nd July, 5th Aug, 19th Aug.

We are a friendly informal group who share anecdotes and discuss issues related to bereavement and loss. We welcome anyone who feels bereaved or is dealing with grief, whether it’s from the loss of a family member, friend, pet, relationship, job, or any other change of circumstance and whether it’s recent or further in the past.

Sometimes we hold on to feelings of grief that we suppress in daily life and do not find the right time to talk about them. These meetings allow us to focus on these issues and may help reach some clarity through the grief process.

Please take a look at our blog to see what themes we have talked about.

The meetings take place in a safe and understanding environment. Please note, this is not a counselling service, nor are there any professionally trained counsellors involved. Also, although the group is held in the parish rooms, it is not a faith-based group.

For further information, please contact Lizzie on 0117 965 0856.

All are welcome, and refreshments will be available.
