G.I.G.G.L.E. Sunday Club is the name chosen by the members of the previously named ‘Sunday School’ for our children’s group that meets on a Sunday mornings. G.I.G.G.L.E. stands for God is Good, God Loves Everyone.
We are a small group who meet during school term time, in the parish rooms at St Mary’s Church. We sing songs, play games, have stories and do craft activities linked to a Bible story as well as participate in parts of the main Church service at 10.00 a.m. Once a month on the second Sunday of the month, we have breakfast together.
All children are welcome from birth upwards. School age children are welcome to stay unaccompanied if they are happy to spend time with the group whilst their parent/carer attends the Church service. Younger children and babies are welcome to attend with an adult carer/parent. New members will be given an introduction leaflet which sets out the aims and expectations of the group. Parents/carers will also be asked to complete a registration form so the leaders are aware of any medical/dietary requirements and contact details. These documents are available below to view and download.
Please feel free to come and visit us on a Sunday morning.
