Come and join us on Saturday 1st December 11.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m. for our Christmas fair. There will be a variety of stall including a book stall, jewellery stall and a chocolate tombola! A variety of refreshments will be available. The choir will be singing carols to raise money so come and request your favourite carol for them to sing!

Harvest Festival
All are welcome at our Harvest Festival this Sunday (23rd September) at 10am. We are going to offer you life insurance quotes that meet you budget. Please bring any unperishable harvest gifts if you are able.
Easter at St Mary’s
St Mary’s has been decorated for Easter! 



Easter Choral Evensong and Te Deum – 1st April – 6.30 p.m.
On Sunday 1st April at 6.30 p.m. we will celebrate Easter with choral evensong and Te Deum. The choir will be singing a variety of music including Sumsion and Ayleward.
Easter morning service – 10.00 a.m. 1st April
Come and join us on Sunday 1st April at 10.00 a.m. as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. Our children’s group will be meeting to make Easter crafts followed by an Easter egg hunt.
Easter Eve service – Saturday 31st March – 8.00 p.m.
Come and join us on Saturday 31st March at 8.00 p.m. as we light the Easter fire and celebrate the first communion on Easter, followed by a party as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.
Good Friday 30th March at St Mary’s – 1.30 p.m.
A 1.30 p.m. on Friday 30th March at St Mary’s, we will be holding a Good Friday service during which there will be readings and music as we remember the final hours of Jesus’ suffering on the cross.
Good Friday – 30th March 10.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. at All Saints Church
On Good Friday morning at All Saints Church, Fishponds, at 10.00 a.m. there will be a creative children’s event during which children will be able to participate in a range of creative activities. This will also include following the Easter trail and taking part in an Easter egg hunt followed by a short service in the church, finishing at 12.00 p.m.. All are welcome.
Maundy Thursday service – 29th March at 7.30 p.m.
On Thursday 29th March at 7.30 p.m., we will be holding our Maundy Thursday service when we will be remembering how Jesus washed the feet of his disciples before sharing a Last Supper. We will be holding a Communion service before the altar is stripped, leaving us to leave in silence as we contemplate Jesus’ suffering which was to occur on Good Friday. There will be a vigil and people are welcome to stay, sit and pray following the service.
Services on 18th March.
There will be a 10am service as normal today. However, the 6:30pm Passiontide service of music and readings is cancelled because of the snow. Instead, there will be evening prayer at 6:30. Apologies for any confusion caused by a previous post.
